Dr. Al-Hawamdeh is Associate Professor in Commercial Law. He was the Dean for Scientific Research, Postgraduate Studies, Quality Assurance and Accreditation at Jerash University and was also formerly the Dean of Law, University President advisor, and University Director for Quality Assurance and Accreditation. He was also a Senior Research Fellow in Law and a Senior Lecturer in Corporate & Corporate Governance Law, in the Department of Law at the University of Portsmouth / England. He is a member of The Committee of Enhancing Legal Education in Jordan, which is managed by the American Bar Association. He is elected as President for the Association of Jordanian Legal Clinics. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (London)
